What if you had a chance to restart your career? Would you do it? Even more, what if restarting meant changing—called "transitioning"—genders?
Ellen Krug knows all about restarts, mid-course corrections, and any other label that attaches to radically changing one's professional and personal lives.
Krug, a 1982 graduate of Boston College Law School, founded a Cedar Rapids, Iowa-based trial firm that represented railroads and trucking companies. She has over 100 trials to her credit, half of which were jury trials.
All of that work was done by a man known as Ed Krug.
