Message from the Chairs
The Corporate Counsel Committee is dedicated to providing topical educational opportunities, programming, and other resources for both in-house counsel and the outside counsel who work with them, as well as valuable networking opportunities locally and nationally. You can learn more about these opportunities by attending one of our monthly virtual committee meetings, which are set for the third Thursday of each month at 2 PM Eastern/1 PM Central/12 PM Mountain/11 AM Pacific. You can obtain more information by contacting any of the four committee cochairs listed below.
In the coming year, we are planning a dynamic track of programming, as well as social events, including a full Corporate Counsel track at the Section Annual Conference in Chicago at the Chicago Hilton, April 30–May 2, 2025. You can learn more about the SAC here.
Section members can become active in our committee by participating in one of our subcommittees and/or in one of the many projects we have in the works. You do not have to be in-house counsel to participate. One of the easiest and most fulfilling ways to get started is to submit content for our newsletter or website. We also have subcommittees/task forces in the following areas: Newsletter/Content; Programming; Young Lawyers; Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion; Membership; Social Media/Website; Enterprise Risk and Crisis Management; ESG; Data Privacy and Security; E-Discovery; 30(b)(6); Alumni Group; and In-House Counsel Coordinating Committee. If you are interested in participating in any of our subcommittees or submitting program proposals, newsletter articles, or website content, or if you have ideas on ways we can meet your needs, or if you are just looking to network and learn more about what the Litigation Section and our committee have to offer, please contact any of the committee cochairs listed below.
We look forward to meeting you, hearing from you, and actively addressing your professional needs and the needs of your in-house clients.
