Does Use Volunteer Attorneys
The Idaho Volunteer Lawyers Program (IVLP) provides a safety net for low-income individuals and families in Idaho who require civil legal services and cannot afford to pay for them. IVLP recruits attorneys from local communities who volunteer their time and expertise to assist those in need. Volunteer attorneys provide legal advice and case representation in (mostly) family law cases and increase access to justice for low-income Idahoans through a variety of other IVLP projects. Areas of law include family and juvenile, immigration & naturalization, and more. Populations served include children, survivors of domestic violence, and more.
Projects in need of Pro Bono help include client counseling (e.g., brief advice), legal documents drafting (e.g., briefs), hotline staffing, and litigation (trial/direct representation, transactional work).
