SCLAID Centennial Access to Justice Award

This award recognizes two young lawyers, one from a civil legal aid practice and one from a public defense practice, for exceptional achievements on behalf of their clients and/or in advancement of the cause of access to justice. The objective of this award is to highlight and raise awareness of exemplary and impactful work being undertaken across the nation by the next generation of leaders in the fields of civil legal aid and public defense.

LAMP Outstanding Legal Assistance Student Award

Sponsored by the Standing Committee on Legal Assistance for Military Personnel, this award is given to the outstanding legal assistance student in each of the basic lawyer courses held annually at the Services' Judge Advocate General Schools. The award emphasizes the importance of legal assistance as an area of practice for military judge advocates and fosters an awareness of civilian professional organizations at an early stage of the military lawyer's career.
