ABArray FAQs

What data is available on ABArray?

The data array dashboards contain charts and graphs displaying data related to legal aid funding and poverty across the United States, currently from 2003-2019. The data displayed here are aggregated at the national level.

How do I view the data array dashboards?

Users may click on links for any of the particular data array dashboards they wish to see. Once a particular dashboard is open, users may advance to the other dashboards by clicking the arrow.

How do I interact with the data?

The data array dashboards allow users to sort and parse data points by clicking on the various graphs and by selecting individual or ranges of data from drop-down menus. This allows users to isolate and examine different types of data in isolation.

How do I download the data?

Once a user has isolated the specific data of interest, click the “download” button located in the bottom right corner of the dashboard. Selecting the “data” option will download that specific data as an Excel file. Users also have other options for download of the data array, such as PDF and PowerPoint formats, as well.

When will new data be added?

Data collections occur on an annual basis and will be added to the dashboard as soon as they are available. Funding data for 2020 is currently being collected from programs nationwide and will be incorporated into the data array dashboard soon.
