Section Announcements: Staff Changes

Section Bids Farewell to Senior Accreditation Counsel Ed Butterfoss

Ed Butterfoss, who most recently served as the Section’s Senior Accreditation Counsel, officially retired last month, after nearly 40 years in the legal education field. He served on the faculty at Hamline University School of Law, later named Mitchell Hamline School of Law, as well as associate dean, and dean of the school. Ed was also a member of the Section’s Accreditation Committee, which he chaired for three years, Council, and served on several site visit teams. While he will be missed, the Section wishes Ed the best in his much-deserved retirement.
