About VCAN

The American Bar Association Veterans Claims Assistance Network (ABA VCAN) is providing unrepresented veterans who need help preparing initial benefits claim packages with the opportunity to work with lawyers who will help the veterans assemble their claim submissions as Fully Developed Claims (FDCs) for expedited rating decisions by the VA—at no cost to the veterans.

Training Opportunity for Attorneys

The ABA, along with Holland & Knight law firm, sponsored a free 3.0 hour CLE program on preparation of VA benefits claims on May 15, 2018. You may view a recording of the training. Note that viewing the recording after May 15 will still qualify for VA accreditation, but it may not qualify for state MCLE credit. If you wish to claim MCLE credit, you will have to work directly with your state entity; the ABA cannot submit the credit for you.
