Provide Pro Bono Legal Counsel to Military Members

Attorneys can register to be contacted by the ABA Military Pro Bono Project with opportunities to provide pro bono counsel on behalf of military families. Clients in these cases are junior-enlisted, active-duty military members and their families with civil legal problems in need of pro bono help. The American Bar Association Veterans’ Claims Assistance Network (ABA VCAN), in close coordination with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), is providing unrepresented veterans intending to file disability benefits claims with the opportunity to work with lawyers who will help the veterans complete their claims packages for expedited review by the VA—at no cost to the veterans.
