Limited Scope Representation

At a Glance

"Limited Scope Representation" refers to the concept of a lawyer agreeing with a client to handle only some part(s) of the client's legal matter.  The term "unbundling" is sometimes used to refer to this method of client service.

Limited Scope Representation is linked to the Self-Represented Litigation movement, because the flipside to a lawyer handlng only some aspects of a client's larger case is that the client will handle other aspects of their case.
