Rew is a Shareholder with Parsons Behle & Latimer in Reno, Nevada and has served on its Board of Directors. He is currently Nevada’s State Delegate in the ABA House of Delegates, and serves on the Rules and Calendar Committee and the Nominating Committee. He is a member of the Standing Committee on Membership and the ABA Day Planning Committee. He served on the ABA Journal Board of Editors for nine years, acting as chair from 2010 to 2013. He previously served on the council of the Business Law Section and the Chaired the Editorial Board of Business Law Today magazine. He is chair of the Fellows of the American Bar Foundation and of the Foundation’s Fellows Research Advisory Committee. He is past president of the National Conference of Bar Presidents (2014-2015) and of the State Bar of Nevada (2006-2007).
His book Business Entities in Nevada (6th ed.) is published by the State Bar of Nevada. Although he grew up in Iowa, where he still runs the family farm, he has lived his adult life in Northern Nevada, where he is active in Rotary, St. John’s Presbyterian Church, politics and the Sky Tavern Junior Ski Program.
