Ms. Martucci’s Legal Department responsibilities have included advising business clients in the Supercenter Division on operations, merchandising, and marketing issues with an emphasis on governmental compliance and contract law. As a member of the Litigation Management Practice Group, she has had oversight of nationwide product liability litigation and regional general-liability litigation. As a Compliance Director she was responsible for aspects of competition and consumer protection compliance. She brought her compliance and legal expertise to ISD where she was responsible for IT security, risk, and compliance policy management and governance. In Digital Citizenship she led ethics and compliance training and awareness initiatives for privacy and data governance.
Prior to joining Walmart, Ms. Martucci served as a prosecutor and Assistant County Attorney in Parker County, Texas. She also practiced law with firms in Dallas and Topeka, Kansas. She is a member of the Kansas, Texas and Arkansas bars.
Ms. Martucci is an American Bar Foundation (ABF) Fellow and has served on the American Bar Association (ABA) Diversity & Inclusion Advisory Council. She was a Walmart Legal Department Diversity and Inclusion Ambassador to the ABA, 2017- 2023, which includes work with the Young Lawyers Division Scholars Program. Her ABA Section of Antitrust Law leadership roles include currently serving as Marketing Officer, Liaison to Cybersecurity Task Force, and Co-Chair of Artificial Intelligence Task Force. Prior service includes Consumer Protection Officer, 2020-2022, member Special Ops Team- Leadership Development for Members, 2019- 2023; Section Delegate/ Officer to the ABA House of Delegates, 2017-2020; Co-Chair Consumer Protection Conference; 2018-2019; member of Council, 2014-17; Liaison to the ABA Commission on Women in the Profession, 2014-17; Chair of the Membership & Diversity Committee, 2013-14, Co-Chair of the Membership & Equal Opportunity Committee, 2011-2013; Vice Chair Corporate Counseling Committee, 2009-2010; Editorial Board, State Antitrust Practice and Statutes, 4th Edition, Antitrust Law Section, 2006-2009; Vice Chair, Price Discrimination Committee, 2005-2006.
In her local community she is a member of the Washington County (Arkansas) Bar Association and the W.B. Putman Inn of Court. She also volunteers with Legal Aid of Arkansas and the University of Arkansas Law School. She is a Lifetime Member of the Girl Scouts of America, a sustaining member of the Junior League of Northwest Arkansas and a member of St.Thomas Acquinas parish.
Paula lives in Fayetteville, Arkansas where she enjoys the Farmer’s Market, kayaking on the Buffalo National River, and cheering on the Hogs at Razorback events. She has one daughter, Cathleen Lowe, currently a third-year law student at the University of Iowa.
