Dick is Senior Counsel at Baker & McKenzie LLP, resident in its Dallas and Chicago offices. He has served in the ABA House of Delegates as the representative of the Tax Section for the past 16 years and was Chair of the Tax Section in 2001-2002. He is the past Chair of the American College of Tax Counsel and also served as Chair of the Federal Tax Committee of the Chicago Bar Association.

Dick's practice focuses on partnerships and real estate transactions. He is an adjunct professor at The University of Chicago Law School, where he teaches a course on partnership taxation. Dick has co-authored two treatises and has published more than 300 articles, most of which address partnership and real estate taxation.
