Bev is a certified employment attorney and mediator. She practices employment law and business law and litigation in the South Carolina and North Carolina state and federal courts, representing a variety of commercial enterprises from manufacturers to medical practices.
Bev served as South Carolina Bar President, on the Bar’ s Board of Governors, and as President and Board member for the South Carolina Bar Foundation. She currently serves in the ABA House of Delegates as a South Carolina Bar delegate, Chairs the S.C. Bar’s Judicial Independence and Impartiality Committee, and currently is a member of the South Carolina Bar House of Delegates, the Employment Law Section, and the Practice & Procedure Committee.
In her community, she serves as Chair of the Rock Hill Public Parks & Recreation Commission and served as Chair of the Rock Hill Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors, and on the Board for York County Regional Chamber of Commerce. She is a member of the Business Recruitment and Expansion committee for RHEDC.
She is an elder at Oakland Avenue Presbyterian Church and currently serves on the Personnel Committee. She and her partner Trish live in Rock Hill.
