Ginger is a Partner with Burr & Forman in Birmingham, Alabama and currently chairs Burr’s Tort Trial & Insurance Section and Diversity Committee. She has been involved in the American Bar Association since law school. She currently serves as the Alabama state delegate to the ABA’s House of Delegates and on the Steering Committee to the Nominating Committee. She previously served as Chair of the Section Officers Conference, Chair of the Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section (TIPS) on LRIS and on the SCOPE Committee among others.
Ginger has been recognized for her work by being listed in Best Lawyers in the area of insurance law as well as Alabama Super Lawyers for business litigation. She has also been selected as a “Top 25 Women” in the state several times. Ginger’s accolades also include the American Bar Association’s “James K. Carroll Leadership Award” and being named to “Best of the Bar” by the Birmingham Business Journal.
Ginger is also very active in the business community, and she served as President of the Homewood, Alabama City Council from 2000 to 2008, and as a member of Leadership Birmingham. She has authored several articles related to trial practice and tips for young lawyers and speaks regularly on various trial and leadership topics.
