Judith Rush

Biography

Judith Rush is the Director of Mentor Externship at University of St. Thomas School of Law.   Prior to joining UST, she enjoyed a successful solo ethics and professional liability advisory, appellate, and family law practice in St. Paul while teaching professional responsibility and legal advocacy as an adjunct for 15 years.  Her current private practice is limited to advice, consultation, and expert testimony in ethics and professional liability matters. 

Judith served as a volunteer in Minnesota’s discipline process for 18 years, including six years as Chair of the Lawyers Professional Responsibility Board.  She has also served as Co-Chair of the ABA Co-LAP’s Law Student Services Committee, and Chair of Lawyers Concerned for Lawyers and the MSBA Life & the Law Committee.  

Judie earned her undergraduate degree, magna cum laude from Hamline University and her J.D. magna cum laude from William Mitchell College of Law.
