The Commission shall: (1) support and seek to improve existing services, including diversity outreach, and, as appropriate, assist the development of new lawyer assistance programs, (2) provide educational and training opportunities for lawyer assistance program staff and volunteers, the legal profession, the judiciary, legal educators and the public, (3) disseminate information and create and foster platforms for communications among lawyer assistance program staff and volunteers, and (4) develop and advance policies that better enable lawyers to obtain assistance and return to good health, protect the integrity of the legal profession and the judiciary and protect the public.
