Nicole Clark

Nicole Clark is a business litigation and labor and employment attorney who has handled litigation in both state and federal courts. She’s worked at a variety of law firms ranging from mid-size litigation boutiques to large firms, and is licensed to practice law in three states. She has defended corporations and employers in complex class action and wage and hour disputes, as well as individual employment matters ranging from sexual harassment to wrongful termination. Additionally, Nicole is the CEO and co-founder of Trellis Research, a legal analytics platform that uses AI and machine learning to provide litigators with strategic legal intelligence and judicial analytics. Nicole has an intuitive understanding of technology and is deeply committed to helping lawyers leverage technology to gain a competitive advantage and achieve a more favorable outcome for their clients. 

Jennifer Leonard

Jen Leonard is the Founder of Creative Lawyers, a company dedicated to supporting law firms, corporate legal departments, and courts that understand the urgency to modernize practice and services. Jen works with leaders to cultivate innovative cultures, build nimble strategies to navigate a volatile environment, and promote mindsets that drive change. She leads design thinking workshops, facilitates innovation challenges, delivers retreat keynotes, provides ongoing strategic support, designs educational Generative AI content, and offers structured events that help lawyers reflect on their careers as they build the next stage in their journey.

Miriam Kim

Miriam Kim is a partner at Munger, Tolles & Olson where her practice focuses on complex civil litigation, intellectual property, and high-stakes investigations. Named a Woman Leader in Tech Law and Top Trade Secrets Lawyer, Miriam has substantial experience in matters involving trade secrets, marketing law, products liability, unfair competition, and technology disputes. Her representative clients include Intel, Applied Materials, Lyft, and founders of high-tech companies.

Lourdes M. Fuentes, Esq.

Lourdes Fuentes is the Founder and CEO of Karta Legal, a legal operations and practice management consultancy. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Law School with certifications in Change Management, Legal Project Management, Lean Six Sigma, Privacy, and GenAI, Lourdes combines deep legal expertise with technological acumen. With over 25 years of experience as a law firm partner, law firm CEO, and legal tech entrepreneur, she has established herself as a leader driving transformational change.

Lourdes founded Karta Legal to address the gap in time and expertise that law firms and legal departments face regarding technology innovation. With a team boasting decades of experience, Karta Legal crafts customized legal technology roadmaps for clients of all
sizes. Under her leadership, Karta Legal received the National Law Journal Technology Trailblazer Award. Her integrated approach guides clients through transformative changes by strategically implementing a diverse array of technologies across all aspects of legal operations. Lourdes expertly assesses client needs and case requirements to create bespoke tech ecosystems. This holistic strategy ensures that each technological component synergizes with others, optimizing workflows, enhancing productivity, and driving innovation throughout the entire legal service delivery process.

Kara Peterson

Kara Peterson is the co-founder of descrybe.ai, a justice tech startup aimed at democratizing access to the law. She started the company with her husband and co-founder Richard DiBona in July 2023 as a way to leverage AI to help address the access to justice crisis in the United States. Kara leads the company’s marketing and business development functions.

Kristen K. Davis

Kirsten K. Davis is a Professor of Law at Stetson University College of Law where she also serves as the Provost’s Faculty Fellow for Generative Artificial Intelligence and Higher Education. Davis researches, speaks, and writes on the impact of technology, including generative AI, on legal communication and legal education.

Sonja Ebron

Sonja Ebron is a PhD electrical engineer and former college professor with a background in utilities and artificial intelligence. As CEO at Courtroom5, she has committed herself to empowering everyone to represent themselves in court. Sonja is the architect of Courtroom5's Personal Practice of Law platform, the only AI-powered analysis, research, and document assembly toolkit for people handling serious litigation without a lawyer.
