ABA TECHSHOW is barreling toward us with all the momentum of a caffeine-fueled legal tech conference, and this year, it’s a big one—40 years in the making. We’re staking our claim at McCormick Place, a gleaming new home with a bigger, brighter EXPO Hall. Picture yourself standing there, the Chicago skyline glinting to one side, Lake Michigan sparkling on the other, and you’re thinking, “Is this a legal tech conference or a scene from a movie about a high-powered attorney finding redemption through AI-driven efficiency?” Either way, it’s breathtaking.

The Hyatt Regency McCormick Place, our official hotel, is a modern marvel in its own right. Those floor-to-ceiling windows? Perfect for soaking up natural light on your stroll down the indoor walkway that connects directly to McCormick Place. And speaking of that stroll, it’s lined with restaurants and grab-and-go stops for every craving, from a snack to a meal to, yes, coffee. If you know me even slightly, you’ll understand coffee is my North Star. I’ll probably buy a cup every 10 feet, and if you join me, I’ll happily spill my thoughts on the latest tech while we sip.

Now, let’s talk about the EXPO. It’s not just a trade show; it’s the trade show for legal tech, a glittering convergence of solution providers, thought leaders and just maybe a surprise or two you won’t see coming.
