As we talk about finance in this issue of Law Practice, it is important to all of us within the Law Practice Division (LP) to highlight the included value of LP within your ABA membership. We are always excited to share our member benefits that are readily available to you, at no additional cost, to help support you in the management of your practice. As we talk about finance, it is a great opportunity to highlight how we can help stretch your dollars and membership experience further than ever before.

One important way we do this on behalf of all members is by our monthly contributions to the CLE Free Member Benefit Library. The library allows all ABA members unlimited, complimentary access to more than 600 widely accredited online CLE webinars and on-demand programs within the Member Benefit Library—with new programs added each month. Under today’s rules, members in most states can fulfill their entire MCLE requirement with the free library. You can visit the library here. It’s our goal that the value of our library and the access it provides extends beyond the cost of your membership.

As a member of LP, you also get access to our great content including, but not limited to, Law Practice magazine, Law Practice Today, Law Technology Today, the Legal Technology Resource Center and our new Lawyer Leadership Resource Center.

LP members receive six issues of the award-winning Law Practice magazine. Each issue contains insightful articles and practical tips on marketing/client development, practice management, legal technology and finance.

Law Practice Today is a monthly digital publication bringing you the most current information and trends in the industry by delivering anecdotes from legal professionals.

Law Technology Today is published by the ABA Legal Technology Resource Center. LTT was launched in 2012 to provide the legal community with practical guidance for the present and sensible strategies for the future. LTT brings together practicing lawyers, technology professionals and practice management experts from a wide range of practice settings and back- grounds.

The Legal Technology Resource Center is an ABA member benefit provided by the ABA’s Law Practice Division. Through publications, blog posts, webinars and other free resources, the LTRC helps lawyers identify opportunities, overcome obstacles and understand how technology tools can improve their practices.

We are introducing our new Lawyer Leadership Resource Center! Leadership is about influence, and all lawyers influence others: clients, those they work with and those in the com- munities they serve. The purpose of the Resource Center is to provide lawyers with a gateway to available resources in the area of lawyer leadership and management.

Sometimes a group or an organization seems big or can be hard to find your way around. We are genuinely here to help. If you want to learn more about the Law Practice Division, or even how you can be more actively involved, please don’t hesitate to give me a call or send a note. I am happy to help introduce you to LP, our members and resources.
