Technically Together—TECHSHOW 2021

Roberta Tepper and Allan Mackenzie

We are thrilled to be the co-chairs of TECHSHOW 2021, and to invite you to join us, the TECHSHOW Board and the Law Practice Division (LP), at the first-ever virtual TECHSHOW, March 8-12, 2021.

TECHSHOW 2021 will be the 35th time LP has held its premier event. As those who have attended in the past will tell you, it has always been a unique and extraordinary legal technology conference. TECHSHOW is the only conference that brings together attendees from all areas of legal practice and academia, legal administrators and legal technology consultants. Our audience comes with a range of experience and knowledge levels, with divergent interests and areas of expertise. Because of our diversity, TECHSHOW gives us the opportunity to expand our horizons, learn from each other and network in the best possible ways.

The silver lining in the pandemic’s dark cloud is this opportunity to bring TECHSHOW to a larger number of possible attendees on a virtual platform. Our theme this year is Technically Together. Although we won’t be in the same place, we’ll still be connected.

For you TECHSHOW regulars, don’t worry. TECHSHOW 2021 will still offer the robust class offerings you are used to; vendors eager to show you the latest and best; presentations by both thought leaders and those who instruct on core concepts; and the networking and social opportunities you look forward to each year.

For those of you who have never been to TECHSHOW for whatever reason—travel, expense, family obligations—TECHSHOW 2021 is coming to you. Now, from the comfort of your home or office, you can seize the opportunity to be part of outstanding legal technology and practice management education. You will hear from the best of the best, engage in discussion or debate about what works and what’s coming down the pike, check out our vendors and sponsors, meet the leaders in legal technology and innovation, and learn about best practices in legal technology and practice management.

We have a lot planned, with tracks on topics we know you care about, from core technology concepts to marketing to diversity to leadership—and we’ll have interactive sessions and workshops, so you can leave TECHSHOW with not only a to-do list, but a plan for how to carry those plans forward and make them a reality. Stay tuned to the TECHSHOW 2021 website, techshow.com, for updates and information.

Whether you just use the technology your firm provides or you are the one making technology decisions, whether you are a lawyer or an IT manager, whether you are new to the practice or have been in the field and innovating on your own, TECHSHOW 2021 has something for you. And because TECHSHOW is virtual, it’s a great time to bring along your co-workers, paraprofessionals, friends, or anyone with questions about technology or who just wants to know what’s new and what’s coming.

Looking forward to being Technically Together.
