    Staff Updates

    • The 2013-2014 Commission on Law and Aging met on October 18th at the ABA offices in Washington, DC, to discuss plans for the year. It was a productive day.
    • A new report on guardian resident decisions from Naomi Karp and the Commission’s Erica Wood is now available. Choosing Home for Someone Else: Guardian Decisions on Long-Term Services and Supports can be viewed and downloaded at: http://bit.ly/16fNddI.
    • Commission Director Charlie Sabatino’s Health and Human Services Health IT Workgroup testimony regarding health decisions is available at: http://bit.ly/19AozVW. (link no longer available)  The testimony was given on September 23rd.

    • The Commission’s Lori Stiegel was invited to speak at the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority’s “Senior Investor Roundtable” on October 30th about soliciting and opening accounts for senior investors.
