Do the elder law and aging rights communities have the advocacy skills to ensure our clients will age in a caring community? Making a caring community a reality for our clients is a formidable task at a time when health and long term care systems are out of reach for many, public benefits programs face budget cuts, and the population is aging rapidly. This Institute aims to provide attendees with the multidisciplinary skills and knowledge to ensure they can meet clients’ and communities’ needs holistically.
To this end, the programming will be divided into three tracks: Practice that Works; Policy on the Cutting Edge; Making Caring Communities a Reality for Clients.
