The Borchard Foundation Center on Law and Aging works to improve the quality of life for older people through education, research, and service. Borchard reaches out to those who are poor or otherwise isolated by lack of education, language, culture, disability, or other barriers. The Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Center for Elder Abuse Prevention is pioneering innovative ways to provide safe shelter for elder abuse victims. Its mission is to champion justice and dignity for older adults. Established in 2005, the Weinberg Center is the nation’s first elder abuse shelter serving eligible individuals 60 years and older. It provides emergency short-term housing, health-care services, legal advocacy, and support services to victims of elder abuse.
Estate and Long Term Care Planning, Inc. provides continuing education on estate and long-term care issues for the public and professionals in Pennsylvania and coaching for attorneys throughout the nation.
