Charlotte Forssander, is a Managing Partner at Advokatfirman Vinge in Gothenburg, Sweden. She has been practicing labor and employment law for 20 years and joined the Section in March of 2017. Upon realizing that she wasn’t talented enough to pursue her ballerina dreams, she chose between law and journalism, but since practicing law allows you to both communicate and argue, that was her choice. Ms. Forssander joined the Section to remain on top of developments within the labor law field in the US. She has many US clients and finds that her years of practice in the US helps a great deal with explaining concepts of Swedish law and procedure in a relatable method. Charlotte attended New York University School of Law and is a member of the New York State Bar Association since practicing in New York 1998-2000. Her employment expertise is broad, but she has developed a particular niche for litigating cases involving employee loyalty breaches and trade secret theft. This self-described “energetic” lawyer is a great member to get to know.
