John Rubiner, is a partner at Gerard Fox Law in Los Angeles, CA where his practice focuses on representing employers facing claims and threats from their current or former employees. John has been practicing labor and employment law for 24 years and joined the Section in 1990. He joined the Section to expand his knowledge of labor and employment law and to network with his colleagues throughout the country. Mr. Rubiner has taken the initiative to remain active amongst various groups within the Section such as the Employment Rights & Responsibilities Committee. John was influenced by family to become a lawyer as his grandfathers and uncles set the standard with their previous careers in law. In his spare time, Mr. Rubiner regularly participates in national seminars concerning bar leadership and employment law. Most recently, Mr. Rubiner taught a course on litigation holds in employment litigation to attorneys across the country. This self-described “persistent” lawyer is a great member to get to know.
