David Cook, is the founder and Managing Principal of Cook & Logothetis, LLC in Cincinnati, Ohio. He formed the firm to focus on the representation of labor unions, their members, plaintiffs and fiduciaries in employee benefits litigation. Since its founding, the firm has expanded its emphasis to represent plaintiffs and citizens in claims for civil rights, personal injury and employment matters. David has been practicing law for 38 years and became a Section member in 1982. He joined the Section seeking a broad, more diverse, collegial experience with fellow labor, employment and employee benefits lawyers. As a member of the Section, he most enjoys the intellectual tension of engaging with fellow practitioners from all sides of the issues which establishes a greater understanding and appreciation of the various perspectives on labor law. Mr. Cook has taken advantage of the tremendous opportunities the Section offers, from attending midwinter meetings, to being a member of the Employee Benefits committee, and serving as immediate past Union/Employee Co-chair for the Section’s Revenue Development Committee. This self-described “persistent” lawyer is a great member to get to know.
