Brian Holb, is 3L law student at The Ohio State Moritz College of Law in Columbus, OH where he serves as the president of the Labor & Employment Law Association. Since 2014, Brian has been a member of the ABA’s Section of Labor and Employment Law. He believes that belonging to the Section is a great avenue through which to gain insight into this area of law. Mr. Holb enjoys being able to attend great programming while having access to labor law oriented news that he otherwise might not have known about. Attending the 2016 ABA Labor and Employment Law Conference was a great experience, which allowed him to network and learn about new issues in the field. He picked this area due to his involvement with labor unions during his career as a firefighter/paramedic. Since August, he has worked as a Judicial Extern for Magistrate Judge Elizabeth A. Preston Deavers in Columbus. After graduation, he will be practicing management side labor and employment law in Cleveland, OH. This self-described “tenacious” future lawyer is a great member to get to know.
