Jeff Brodin, an Employer/Management lawyer with Brodin HR Law in Phoenix, AZ has been practicing labor and employment law since 1984 and became a Section member 10 years ago. Mr. Brodin became a section member as he’d been involved with the ABA since law school and was interested in meeting people who practiced within his area of the law and to keep abreast with the latest developments in the employment and labor law realm. Jeff has remained an active member for numerous reasons, first for the people that he’s gotten to know in the Section as he has developed strong friendships along the way and second is due to all that he learns consistently at the Midwinter and Annual meetings, which he views as being quite resourceful. As a Section member what Jeff enjoys most is the people that he’s met and continues to meet through Section meetings, working on planning Employment Rights and Responsibilities committee meetings and speaking at those meetings. Mr. Brodin opened his own employment law firm in 2013 to provide employment law solutions for businesses, non-profits and individuals. He had an employment law practice in a large law firm for 15 years, after which he went in-house and was senior employment counsel for 12 years. From there he harnessed that experience to move on to opening his own firm, where he specializes in workplace investigations, employment law counsel and advice, along with training and executive agreements. This self-described “innovative” lawyer is a great member to get to know.
