Jo Linda Johnson, a Public lawyer and Director with the Civil Rights, Diversity & Inclusion Division (CDRI) for the Transportation Security Administration in Arlington, VA has been practicing labor and employment law since 2000 and been a Section member for 15 years. Ms. Johnson joined the Section after learning about it as a law student. She most enjoys the Section’s Midwinter Meetings and her work with the Employment Rights and Responsibilities Committee. She currently serves as a CDRI Director for the TSA, a role that she’s been in since November 2013. Ms. Johnson chose labor and employment law as a practice area because she developed an early passion as a young law student for being motivated to fight for equal rights for people both within professional arenas and general everyday life. This self-described “opinionated” lawyer is a great member to get to know.
