J. Bruce Cross, an Employer/Management lawyer with Cross, Gunter, Witherspoon & Galchus, P.C. in Little Rock, Arkansas has been practicing labor and employment law for 41 years and has been a Section member since the late 1970s. Mr. Cross became a member as he wanted to become more involved while learning information that would be pertinent to his clients.  Membership also allows him to give back to the Bar.  He’s remained an active member because his involvement has allowed him to meet  great people whom he enjoys while this also allows him to keep up with the most recent events in the law to enhance his practice. As a Section member, he most enjoys and appreciates the relevant updates regarding changes or anticipated changes in the law, which allow him to keep his clients and partners up to date. Mr. Cross’ practice includes work before the National Labor Relations Board, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Wage & Hour and OFCCP Divisions of the Department of Labor, as well as related Federal and State Court Litigation. His experience includes Collective Bargaining, Arbitration, Advising Management Regarding Maintenance of a Non-Union and Non-Discriminatory Workplace, Supervisory Training, Development of Personnel Systems and the preparation of Affirmative Action Plans.
