Aaron Janik, an Employer / Management lawyer with the Mid America Regional Bargaining Association in Des Plaines, IL, has been practicing Labor & Employment Law since 2008. Aaron originally worked as in house counsel at two well-known labor unions, but was recently hired to serve as the Executive Director of a multi-employer bargaining association called MARBA. At MARBA he is in charge of all aspects of the organization’s collective bargaining agreements including administration of the parties’ grievance procedure, as well as the day to day operations of the group. Aaron joined the Section right out of law school after it was recommended to him by two partners at his first firm. He has especially loved the networking and even found his second job by networking through the Section. He also enjoys the midwinter meetings and the plethora of CLE offered.
