Michael Z. Green, a professor at Texas A&M University School of Law in Fort Worth, TX, has been practicing Labor & Employment Law for over 20 years and a full-time professor for 15 years. He is a tenured labor and employment law professor who also serves as an arbitrator and mediator of workplace disputes with membership on national labor panels including AAA and FMCS. Michael joined the Section in 1993 after his law school labor and employment law professor advised him it would be very rewarding to join. His favorite part of the Section is going to the various Annual Conferences and Midwinter Meetings and being around a lot of kindred spirits. He has been most active with the Ethics & Professional Responsibility Committee and would like to be more active in the ADR in Labor & Employment Law Committee. Favorite Movies – Jerry Macguire, Shawshank Redemption, and My Cousin Vinny. All of them have characters that find positivity in a boatload of negativity and use that to prevail over challenging circumstances.
Dream Vacation – Somewhere warm and exotic like Aruba, the Cayman Islands, the French Riviera, or the nice beaches in Australia.
