ABA National Conference on EEO Law: UPDATE

Dear EEO Conference Registrant -

The ABA Section of Labor and Employment Law has made the difficult decision to cancel this year's National Conference on EEO Law, scheduled for March 25-28 in Carlsbad, California.

We appreciate your patience as LEL Section Executive Committee and the EEO Committee Co-Chairs have been carefully monitoring this dynamic situation. We will miss seeing all of you in Carlsbad and deeply regret losing the opportunities for members and other attendees to connect and to share their collective experiences in the midwinter meeting format. Our paramount concern, however, is for the health and safety of our members and their communities as well as the Section’s diversity and inclusion values with respect to providing an inclusive environment to all, including our older and disabled members and attendees.

On behalf of the LEL Section Council, we appreciate the significant contributions made and preparation undertaken by the EEO Planning Committee Co-Chairs and the National Conference panelists. We anticipate offering many of the planned Conference programs through CLE webinars over the next few months, so please watch your email for details on alternative programming. Please also look out for the Section newsletters.

We apologize for the inconvenience and hope to see you at the 14th Annual Labor & Employment Law Conference at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California on November 11-14, 2020. In the meantime, take good care of yourself, your family and your local community. Please note the following protocols and feel free to let us know what our Section might do to assist you during this challenging period.
