Arizona Supreme Court Chief Justice Robert Brutinel says that judges need to do more to educate their local media about the courts and the work we do, noting that the courthouse beat reporters who were around when he began practicing law are a thing of the past. Wayne Maloney, a retired journalist, and host Richard Ginkowski suggest that the task may be more difficult because local radio news is almost extinct, local newspapers are disappearing and many of those that remain have largely been decimated.
