Whose Job is it to Defend Judicial Independence?

(Hint: It Takes a Village)

Hosted by Hon. Richard Ginkowski, Pleasant Prairie, WI

In the fourth installment of Gavel Talks devoted to "Democracy's Last Line of Defense," a judicial independence symposium held by the National Judicial College, host Richard Ginkowski pulls together some best practices that judges and our friends - especially those in the legal community - can use to defend judicial independence and the rule of law.

Bottom line: Although judges should be proactive, we can't do it alone and indeed need a "little help from our friends."
