Description:
This program will address the uncomfortable moment when a judge perceives an attorney or another participant in a proceeding to be impaired in one way or another. A psychiatry professor will offer guidance and suggestions on recognizing impairments and handling this situation when it arises in our courtrooms and tribunals. Two experienced administrative law judges will offer insights and experiences handling these issues
