State Judicial Outreach Liaison

The purpose of the ABA State Judicial Outreach Liaison (SJOL) program is to provide a foundation for the American Bar Association-Judicial Division (ABA) to focus their outreach efforts on educating and mobilizing support for NHTSA’s alcohol and drug- impaired driving program activities. The SJOL will improve judicial community outreach and promote confidence and trust in their state and within their region. The duties of the SJOL include serving as an educator, writer, community outreach advocate, consultant, and liaison, regarding alcohol and drug-impaired driving for the ABA. The SJOL will work with the ABA Judicial Fellows, NHTSA staff and the ABA Judicial Division staff throughout the year to accomplish established goals.
