About Us

The Lawyers Conference is a home for legal professionals within the ABA Judicial Division. Members work closely with judges and law professionals to advance the judicial administration.

Who We Are

The Lawyers Conference (LC) is composed of both judicial and non-judicial members including lawyers, judges, court managers, legal teachers, writers and publishers, and law students.

Our Mission

The Lawyers Conference of the Judicial Division provides a forum for attorneys and law students to interact with members of the judiciary and the community; to improve the administration of justice; to advance confidence in the judiciary; and to promote a diverse and adequately funded justice system

Governance

LC Bylaws: The LC is governed by its bylaws, last amended in 2010.

Recharge 2018 Strategic Plan: Most recently updated in February 2018, RECHARGE is the Lawyers Conference Strategic Plan.

Committees: The LC conducts much of its work through standing and ad hoc committees.

Our History
