Our Committees

The LC conducts much of its work through standing and ad hoc committees. Participation in LC Committees allows members to participate in judicial reform, court delay reduction, civil justice reform and community-based justice efforts.

Who We Are

The LC is made up of both judicial and non-judicial members, including attorneys, judges, court managers, legal educators, authors and publishers, and law students.

Our Mission

The LC offers a platform for attorneys and law students to communicate with members of the judiciary and the community; enhance the administration of justice; develop trust in the judiciary; and promote a diverse and adequately funded justice system.

Lawyers Conference Work

U.S. Supreme Court Bar Admissions Small Group Program

For many years, the LC has organized an annual Supreme Court Bar Admissions Program, hosting a small group of 12 members in Washington, D.C. for an extraordinary visit.

The LC presents the Greeley Award, honoring significant positive impact on public understanding of the role of the judiciary in a democratic society and its importance to the rule of law, and the Yegge Award, recognizing outstanding contribution to the field of judicial administration.
