Judicial Outreach Network

About the Committee

The purpose of this committee is to act as a resource to both ABA and non-ABA entities seeking judges for participation in educational programs and other initiatives.

The Judicial Division is comprised of over 4,500 judges, lawyers, court administrators, academics, and students. Its membership is sub-divided into six groups: (1) Appellate Judges Conference; (2) Lawyers Conference; (3) National Conference of Administrative Law Judges; (4) National Conference of Federal Trial Judges; (5) National Conference of Specialized Court Judges; and (6) National Conference of State Trial Judges.

Our members are knowledgeable about a wide range of justice system topics. If you are looking for an expert panelist or author on a court related issue the Judicial Outreach Network Committee will be glad to assist you.

Examples of topics include:

  • Court Funding
  • Appellate Practice
  • Judicial Independence
  • Diversity in the Judiciary
  • Juries and Jury Trials
  • Court Technology
  • Ethical Issues
  • Public Understanding of the Courts
  • Traffic Courts
  • Court Administration

The Judicial Division is the voice of the judiciary within the ABA, and our members are committed to partnering with others for outreach and education. Having a Judicial Division member participate in your program, publication, or event provides a unique perspective that will be a valuable benefit to your members.
