The Court-Appointed Neutrals Committee has issued circulation drafts of two Resolutions and Reports for consideration by the Judicial Division and its conferences. If approved by the Division, they are expected to go before the ABA House of Delegates at the 2023 Annual Meeting.

- A circulation draft of a Resolution seeking, among other things, to amend the ABA Guidelines on the Appointment and Use of Special Masters in Federal and State Civil Litigation and the 2019 Resolution that approved them to substitute and promote the use of the term “Court-Appointed Neutral” instead of “Master” or “Special Master."
- A circulation draft of a Resolution to adopt a model state rule of civil procedure to help states implement the ABA policy enunciated in its January 2019 Guidelines on the Appointment and Use of Special Masters in Federal and State Civil Litigation.
