This program highlight Ethiopia’s government war against peoples in the Tigray region. Of particular note are the ongoing uprisings of the Oromo and Amhara peoples, and the multi-year crisis’ effects on their peoples lives and related civil and human rights abuses generating famine and displacement. Discussions will inform on current relationships between warring groups with Eritrea and the present conflict with the Amhara spin off militia as well as the opposition in the Oromia province. This destabilization affects the security and development of other countries in the region, including neighboring Eritrea, who is making alliances in Ethiopia in hopes of gaining control of strategic corridors.
