February 27 – March 1, 2024

Houston, Texas

The International Law Section of the American Bar Association is delighted to invite you to the Section’s 2024 Americas Conference – The Future of Energy Across the Americas: Helping Lawyers Predict and Adapt. This conference on the future of energy will be held in Houston, Texas, from February 27 to March 1, 2024, at the University of Houston Hilton. Our opening reception on Tuesday, February 27, will take place at the new John M. O’Quinn Law Building. On Thursday, February 29, we hope to have an evening at the rodeo, and on Friday, March 1, we plan to visit Space Center Houston, where we will learn what NASA is developing from an energy perspective. This conference will provide registrants with ample opportunities to network, learn, and engage with hundreds of international attorneys from some of the most distinguished law firms, private organizations, and government institutions world-wide.

We expect to have three CLE-eligible panels running simultaneously in each time slot. There will be approximately twenty-four 90-minute programs (panels), presented over two days, in several tracks. The tracks listed below are listed for convenience in alphabetical order and are subject to change once program submissions are reviewed.
