About the Annual Meeting

Our biggest meeting of the year, and the first one scheduled to be in-person since October 2019, the International Law Section will bring a world-class international law meeting to Miami, FL. The annual meeting is the central point of the Section year, where members, committees, and Section leaders gather with each other, leaders of other bar associations, and the local legal community.  We plan Section work, network, celebrate, and enjoy the widest array of world class programs of the year.

Miami has long been a business and cultural hub to Latin America, having a diverse and robust international legal community that anchors its place in the region.    Inbound and outbound investment, financial services, real estate, hospitality, technology, and entrepreneurship, to name a few, drive cross border work - particularly with LATAM, Canada, and Europe.  The political and economic issues of the region animate conversation, discourse and politics in Miami.
