The Customs Committee is concerned with laws including valuation and classification of merchandise, penalties and damages, trade agreements, duty preferences and drawbacks, foreign trade zones, bonded warehouses, temporary imports, quotas, intellectual property rights, countries of origin, record-keeping and entry eligibility and supply chain security (CTPAT). The committee is involved with international harmonization efforts, and the comparative operations of customs agencies.
