View - InfoThe ABA International Law Section presents the inauguration of its Litigation Skills Conference, focusing on both “nuts and bolts” and developing issues. Attorneys new to international litigation will get an overview of the process from start to finish, and more experienced litigators will have the opportunity to interact on specialized issues of note. Whether a refresher on basics or a master class on selected issues, the conference is designed for attorneys of all levels.

The Section hosts a two signature Seasonal events per year, the Annual Meeting and the Fall Conference. The seasons events include two or three days of CLE and Non-CLE programming, various receptions and events and attract between 500 and 1,000 participants from over 50 countries. The Section also hosts several standalone programs that differ from Seasonal Meetings that are 1-2 days in length, are held in-person or virtually with a smaller number of participants.
Our Section’s members are spread across over 100 countries, yet our work is conducted with a sense of close community across boundaries of all kinds. Our members find leadership opportunities and visibility in our more than sixty committees (some focused on specific subject matters, others on a geography or other affinity) and our growing number of active city chapters.
The International Law Section offers members 56 substantive committees covering a wide range of international legal topics.
