Nana Zhang from Shang Tzi and partners presented on recent developments in trademark law in China, discussing the impact of a Hangzhou Internet Court ruling on China's digital economy and AI field, and the tightening of examination criteria for trademark applications. Nana also discussed the increasing risk of trademark registrations being cancelled, the increasing aggressiveness of trad mark copycats and infringers, and the protection and recognition of well-known trademarks in China.
