Pro Bono Committee

New Pro Bono Program with U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and Maryland Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts (MdVLA)

The MdVLA has entered into a partnership with the USPTO to provide pro bono assistance to financially under-resourced artists and inventors in the State of Maryland. The MdVLA will refer qualifying clients to both patent attorneys and patent agents who are registered to volunteer. These qualifying clients may be seeking assistance with preparing patent applications, prosecuting patent applications before the USPTO, or both.
