ABA-IPL Women in IP Action Group (WIP) member, Amy Pruett, led Mindful IP Resolutions: using the breath, physiology, empathy, and more to identify legal issues, visualize results, and advocate effectively in Intellectual Property disputes and other business conflicts.
This presentation offered (i) strategies to improve individual well-being, such as mindfulness and other physiological practices that improve focus and resilience while reducing stress and tension, (ii) negotiation, mediation, and collaborative advocacy using these strategies and practices, including issues and interest identification, and ending with a review of (iii) application of these strategies to specific examples, including resolution of IP infringement cases and negotiation of IP related agreements.
