This spring, the ABA-IPL Section will be introducing the first ABA-IPL Intellectual Property Law Scholarship Symposium. The Scholarship Symposium will bring together intellectual property law scholars and practitioners to discuss cutting edge IP issues. Held during the 29th Annual Intellectual Property Law Conference on the afternoon of Wednesday, April 2, academics and other scholars will present a draft article or other works-in-progress. Three (3) concurrent sessions, separately focusing on patent, trademark or copyright topics, will be held from 3:00 pm – 4:30 pm. A designated IP practitioner commentator and conference attendees will provide comments and feedback to each author. This will be an opportunity for authors to gain insights from practitioners and members to learn about and influence in-progress legal scholarship.
